Sustainable Development Studies Wing (SDS)
The purpose of this wing is to develop a comprehensive holistic approach to sustainable development in which local ownership is central. This research wing is developed to facilitate sustainable livelihood through participatory natural and non natural resources management and socio-economic empowerment.

The functions of SDS wing are as follows:

To assist the development sector by idea generation, evaluation-monitoring and review process focused on South Asian countries on the basis of challenging sustainable development issues;

To initiate and conduct survey research and dissemination of knowledge in the field of development particularly- sustainable income generating, participatory program management, social rehabilitation and strengthening local governance issues and other social science related tasks to policy advocacy and planning for national development;

To conduct study, research and investigation into the environmental problems of Bangladesh;

To plan, design, conduct and run comprehensive training programs, seminars, symposium, dialogues, discussion, conferences and workshops, setup study groups for socio-economic and human resources development;

To assist community to buildup peoples Institution towards a secure, develop and democratic society.

Post - 2015 development goal
Transparency, Accountability and Anti-corruption have become critical elements in the Post-2015 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, given that they are a major hindrance to economic growth and social equality.
